Program Terms and Conditions

Program Overview

The TOOTRiS Cash Rewards Program rewards Providers for processing payments for Child Care, Elder Care, and Pet Care services through the TOOTRiS platform rather than through third-party payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, merchant accounts, or similar services.

Eligible Providers earn 2% Cash Reward on eligible payments processed through TOOTRiS during the Provider's first Program Year on TOOTRiS.

Eligible Providers become eligible for an additional 1% Cash Reward, increasing the total Cash Reward to 3%, beginning on the earlier of: (a) the date on which the Provider achieves 100% enrollment processing through TOOTRiS, or (b) the date on which the Provider has been on the TOOTRiS platform for one year. Beginning on that earlier date, Eligible Payments processed through TOOTRiS will earn Cash Rewards at the 3% rate for the remainder of the Program Year.

A Provider will be treated as having achieved "100% enrollment through TOOTRiS" when all active care slots offered by the Provider are filled through TOOTRiS, as determined by TOOTRiS records.

A Provider will be treated as having been on the TOOTRiS platform for one year as of the one-year anniversary of the Provider's account activation date, as determined by TOOTRiS records.

"Eligible Payments" means payments made through the TOOTRiS platform to a Provider for Child Care, Elder Care, or Pet Care services.

Only transactions completed during the Program Year are eligible for Cash Rewards.

Cash Rewards are given in addition to any processing fee savings a Provider may experience by using TOOTRiS for payment processing.

Program Structure

Cash Rewards are calculated annually based on actual payment activity and are issued once per year. This program is designed to reward long-term platform usage and sustained payment processing through TOOTRiS.

Participation in the program is subject to the terms and conditions below.

Program Period

"Program Year" means the calendar year beginning January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2026, based on U.S. Pacific Time.

Eligibility and Account Standing

To be eligible to earn and receive Cash Rewards, a Provider must:

  • Process Eligible Payments through the TOOTRiS platform
  • Maintain an account in good standing through both:
    - December 31st of the Program Year, and
    - The date Cash Reward is issued

An account in good standing means:

  • No unresolved payment disputes, chargebacks, or compliance violations
  • No account suspension or termination
  • Continued compliance with TOOTRiS Terms of Service

Providers must maintain an active account in good standing through the date Cash Rewards are issued in order to receive earned Cash Rewards.

TOOTRiS reserves the right to determine account standing based on compliance with these Terms and the TOOTRiS Terms of Service.

Eligible Transactions

Eligible transactions include Eligible Payments for Child Care, Elder Care, or Pet Care services that are successfully processed and settled through the TOOTRiS platform while the Provider maintains an active account in good standing during the Program Year, except to the extent refunded as otherwise provided below.

The following are excluded from Cash Rewards calculations:

  • Disputed or charged-back transactions
  • Promotional credits, subsidies, or incentives provided by TOOTRiS
  • Transactions prohibited by applicable law
  • Processing fees, taxes, tips, convenience fees, late fees, or similar non-care charges
  • If a transaction is partially refunded, Cash Back will be calculated only on the remaining non-refunded amount.

Cash Rewards are calculated based on the gross amount of Eligible Payments, before any payment processing fees are deducted, and after adjustments for refunds, disputes, and chargebacks.

Transactions must represent legitimate payments for Child Care, Elder Care, or Pet Care services provided by the Provider. TOOTRiS reserves the right to exclude transactions that appear fraudulent, manipulative, self-initiated, or otherwise inconsistent with normal care payment activity.

Cash Rewards Calculation

Cash Rewards equals 2% of total eligible, completed, and non-refunded transaction volume processed through TOOTRiS during the Program Year. If, during the Program Year, a Provider either (a) achieves 100% enrollment through TOOTRiS or (b) has been on the TOOTRiS platform for one year, the 3% Cash Rewards rate applies only to eligible transactions processed after the earlier of those two dates.

There is no minimum processing volume required to earn Cash Rewards.

There is no cap on the total Cash Rewards amount a Provider may earn unless otherwise stated in writing by TOOTRiS.

Cash Rewards amounts may be rounded to the nearest cent during calculation.

Example 1: 2% Cash Rewards

If a Provider processes $100,000 in Eligible Payments through TOOTRiS during the Program Year, and $5,000 of that amount is refunded or disputed:

  • Eligible volume = $95,000
  • Total Cash Rewards earned = $1,900

Example 2: 3% Cash Back

If a Provider processes $30,000 in Eligible Payments before the earlier of (a) achieving 100% enrollment through TOOTRiS or (b) the one-year anniversary of its account activation date, and $70,000 in Eligible Payments after that earlier date during the same Program Year:

  • Cash Rewards on first $30,000 at 2% = $600
  • Cash Rewards on next $70,000 at 3% = $2,100
  • Total Cash Rewards earned = $2,700

Examples above are for illustration only and do not guarantee actual results.

Cash Rewards Issuance

  • Cash Rewards are calculated after the close of the Program Year.
  • Cash Rewards are issued annually, typically during the first half of the following calendar year, after completion of the annual calculation and reconciliation process.
  • Cash Rewards may be issued as ACH, check, or another equivalent payment method determined by TOOTRiS.
  • Cash Rewards calculations may include adjustments for refunds, disputes, or chargebacks reported after the end of the Program Year and before or after Cash Back issuance.

Cash Rewards:

  • Are non-transferable
  • Do not create a vested or property right before issuance

Adjustments and Corrections

TOOTRiS may:

  • Correct calculation errors
  • Adjust Cash Rewards amounts for late-reported refunds, disputes, or chargebacks
  • Offset future payments if necessary

Adjustments may apply even after an initial calculation if new information becomes available.

TOOTRiS's determination of eligible transaction volume and Cash Rewards amounts will be final following completion of the annual calculation process, except in cases of clear calculation error.

Interaction With Other Pricing or Incentives

Cash Rewards may be combined with standard TOOTRiS pricing and publicly available promotions unless otherwise stated.

TOOTRiS reserves the right to exclude specific accounts or custom pricing arrangements from stacking Cash Rewards with other incentives.

Taxes and Accounting

Cash Rewards are intended as a rebate or incentive payment related to platform usage.

Providers are solely responsible for determining the appropriate tax treatment and for paying any federal, state, or local taxes associated with Cash Rewards received.

TOOTRiS does not provide tax advice.

Program Changes and Termination

TOOTRiS may modify, suspend, or terminate the Cash Rewards Program:

  • At any time
  • With or without notice, where permitted by law
  • Prospectively or immediately, depending on circumstances

Changes will not affect Cash Rewards already earned from eligible transactions completed prior to the effective date of the change, unless required by law.

Legal Compliance

The Cash Rewards Program is void where prohibited by law and is subject to the TOOTRiS Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
